My knees hurt when ever i don't get enough sleep. I don't run or put strain on them, and i am not on my feet all day. I place my legs up a good 10-15 times a day sense i'm a stay a home mom but in the end when i'm forced to stay up till 3am ( due to online classes and homework) my knees hurt bad. Why is that?
Knee and Muscle cramps can be reduced by Massaging the cramped muscle with your hands or oil Drinking plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration
Taking diet rich in calcium and potassium or oral supplements of the same Check your vit B12 and Vit D 3 levels.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, You can consult physiotherapist for help. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
Inadequate sleep leads to accumulation of substance P in tissue leading to knee and leg pain.
