i had two glasses of wine friday night, all day saturday i felt absolutely horrible. both of the sides where my kidneys are and have been hurting on and off. Very tired. a little headache both sat and now today hurting and tired, some blurred vision just started about a 1/2 hour ago.
Prior to this i had not drank anything since the 4th of July so, i am not a big drinker. But, i routinely wake up with a hangover feeling after sleeping 9 hours. what in the heck is wrong with me? I was diagnosed with IBS in 05. Is this all related?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* The kidney pain with head ache are secondary to dehydration following alcohol consumption giving rise to fluid and electrolyte imbalance.
* I recommend to get primary evaluation with your PCP for best recovering medications. Till that time, start consuming plenty of liquids (other than alcohol ).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
