What Causes Itchy Patches On Hands, Forearms And Feet?

For several days, different patches of skin itch and sometimes I see raised little welts. Tops of hands, forearms, feet, are most common. If I ice it it helps but it comes back and rotates to different area. My skin is not dry as I use lotion all the time. Any thoughts?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

These lesions would be called urticaria.

They are most commonly due to allergies but can also be due to different possible causes.
Some persons get the rash in response to heat, cold , trauma to skin, exercise , water.

Allergy testing can pinpoint a specific allergy.

Antihistamines can help treat the rash. These are over the counter.

I hope this helps
