What Causes Itchiness And Swelling In Genital Area With History Of Herpes?

Hi, I had a lot of sex about 10days ago in one night and since then have been itchy and swollen in that area. Now a couple of little bump have appeared, don t know if that is because I had herpes once years ago or just have been scratching. What is it and what can I do?

Hello. Thanks for posting your query.
It does seem like you have picked up an STD. IT is better to get yourself tested and also for the time being you can take Tab. Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 2 weeks. It is found to be effective against most infections.
Without looking at the lesion, i can't comment on what it is. It is better to get yourself evaluated as soon as possible.
Regards
