Hi...my right tonsil gets irritated after i eat or when I drink cold water. it s not swollen. It actually look like it s sunk in a little compared to the left tonsil. my ear itches a little on the inside too. could it just be allergies. i m not sick at all. not even a cough.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it might be an inflammation of the tonsils or pharynx. Keep good oral hygiene. Use oral antiseptics.

With regards to itchiness on the inside ear, it could be a temporary allergy. Do not use ear buds. Apply cerapur ear spray for external ear hygiene especially after having a bath. If the symptoms will persist should consult with ENT specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
