What Causes Irregular Menstruation While On Thyroxine?

Hi im 25 year married women iam having thyroid problem abd iam taking thyroxine 100mg since 5years now my thyriod is normal my problem is iam not having my periods sinces 4months and i look primolut n5mg before 15days and iam not having my menses yet so what can i do now and i want to get pregnent too plz answer me

Based on the history you have shared, you would need to get a fresh Thyroid levels done alongwith hormonal profile and pituitary functions evaluation too. Periods abnormalities can be due to thyroid illness itself as well as with over treatment with thyroxine, and may need to have an endocrinologist review. The infertility may also be due to throid issue as well as due to pituitary gland issues, so detail hormonal profile is a must. Meanwhile continue thyroxine in current dose.
