Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Flu or Influenza is a viral infection and treatment is mostly to symptomatic to relieve the symptoms of congestion, cough and fever..
You can very well start taking Amoxil which is antibiotic amoxicillin which will prevent bacterial infection which occurs commonly secondary to viral infection..
You can take Tylenol for relief from pains and aches and fever..
Take decongestants like Pseudoephadrine [ sudafed] for relieving congestion and blockage..
If there is phlegm formation you can take mucolytics like Ambroxol..
For congestion you can also take decongestant nasal sprays, saline irrigations, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
Do warm saline gargles and avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Drink plenty of warm fluids and take ample of rest..
The soreness in ears is also secondary to infection and will get relieved once the infection subsides..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
