What Causes Hurting In Ears While Landing In Flight?
I was on a airplane and as we started in for a landing my left ear started to hurt. It has been 7 days now. It doesn't hurt but feels plugged. I did end up with a cold that evening. I still have something of a cold but I thought my ear would get better by now. It seems like when I go to bed it gets better, but come morning when I get up it's back to being plugged.
Hello! The pain and the block is due to blocking of the eustachian tube ( tube between your ear and nose). this is common is flight specially during take off and landing due to pressure changes and can worsen in cold dont worry, just take your cold medicines and start steam inhalation 3-4 times a day and you will do well! take care!
