My husband recently applied for life insurance. His results came back with a CEA level of 3.7 and his glucose levels were high also. He has dipped Copenhagen for years. We have scheduled an appointment with the doctor, but he can t be seen until May 22. Is that too long to wait? How concerning is this?

What Causes High Levels Of Glucose In Blood?
Dear madam i can understand your concern. CEA is done to check for risk of cancer. The normal range is 0 to 2.5 micrograms per liter (mcg/L). In tobacco users, the normal range is 0 to 5 mcg/L. In smokers, slightly higher values may be considered normal. kindly mention the reports of sugar level to brief about condition. Best Regards.
