What Causes High Blood Pressure?

My blood pressure has been 150 over 105 today. I take Noravas (10mg)and a beta blocker. Today is my first day on the beta blocker, and I have been on Noravas for about two weeks. But, my pressure is not going down. It as been this high all day. Any thoughts? 41 years old, Black male. I feel fine, but I know this is high.

Hi
Your current blood pressure recording is in hypertensive range and it needs treatment.
If an anti hypertensives failed to achieve a desired blood pressure level, next step is to increase the dose of that drug or add a new drug for further treatment.
Calcium channel blockers, diuretics are other agents that can be used in your case.
Consult your doctor
