What Causes High BP Level And Mild Headache?

My blood pressure has been measuring around 190/100 today and yesterday. I have a dull headache. I ve felt like I was sick, with maybe a stomach bug. No N/V or diarrhea. I do not have a history of hypertension. I am 67 and a male. I am not over weight, non smoker, casual drinker.

Hi,

Please monitor your blood pressure for at least a week or so. Optimal time should be morning when you wake up from your bed. Having a headache is good as it acts as a warning for high BP in some cases and then you can act fast to lower it down. Though you don't need to worry as of now it is not a established hypertension.

If you persistently get your BP on higher side and a Holter monitoring also suggest hypertension then please let me know. As you are an active man with clean medical history you can well be treated without many medicines, if at all they are needed. Ayurvedic yoga, meditation and some medicines will do the needful in a very short span of time.

Hope that clears all doubts. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks and Regards,
