Hello dear I understand your concern In hernia bulging of an organ or tissue through an abnormal opening mainly from inguinal canal. I would suggest to consult general surgeon for better evaluation. Following are cause of hernia: Increased pressure within the abdomen, A pre-existing weak spot in the abdominal wall, A combination of increased pressure within the abdomen and a pre-existing Straining during bowel movements or urination, Strenuous activity, Chronic coughing or sneezing. Treatment will be decided by after complete evaluation. Following are complication occur in future if left untreated: Pressure on surrounding tissues, pain, swelling Incarcerated hernia. If the contents of the hernia become trapped Strangulation So if you feel pain and discomfort in future immediate consult general surgeon.
