What Causes Heart Palpitations Inspite Of Being On Plan B?

I am a 26 year old healthy female who took Plan B 4-5 days ago. I have noticed I have had a few heart palpitations since, and after doing some research it seems others have experienced this as well after taking the drug. I am a little scared that this isn t going to go away. I m currently in-between jobs so I do not have health insurance. Is this common? Does it go away? Should I be concerned?

Hi, I have gone though your question and understand your concerns.
Heart palpitations is the rarest of the rare side effect of the emergency contraception, like Plan B. It can be due to some heart disease or thyroid dysfunction.
I suggest you to consult a physician and get investigated properly and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
