What Causes Headache And Dizziness While Suffering From Flu?
I was diagnosed yesterday with the flu. Dr gave me zofran for my sick tummy. I believe I got it last Friday. But I m still experiencing headache quizzes dizzy. And fever. I woke up in a sweat. A pool of it. When should I feel better. This is horrible and why am I sweating so bad.
All the symptoms you are mentioning, the headache, sick tummy, fever and sweating can be caused by flu. Most of the patients feel better within a week of the start of symptoms and rarely it might go up to 10 days. You will need to take some ibuprofen and paracetamol for pain and fever and make sure you drink and eat frequent small amounts to help with the nausea. Rest is important as well to help you heal quicker and also avoid contact with others so you don't spread the virus. If no improvement in a total of a week or any worsening please see your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
