What Causes Hand Shivers And Palpitations?

I didn’t notice since when but my hands are very shaky. It’s pretty obvious when i eat porridge or soupy stuffs. In fact, I really had a hard time taking pictures cause it will end up blur. My legs do shake too but not that frequent. I feel that my whole body shakes. And recently, while i was lying down, i felt that my heartbeat was beating so fast out of a a sudden. Doctor asked me to go for a blood test. Do you think I’m having typhoid? Please advise. Thank you.

Hello,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to thyroid gland dysfunction.

For this reason, I would recommend checking thyroid hormone levels.

Some other blood lab tests to consider would be:
- complete blood count for anemia
- vitamin B12 and vitamin D plasma levels for possible deficiency
- blood electrolytes for possible imbalance
- cortisol plasma levels for possible adrenal gland dysfunction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
