My child complained of an ear ache yesterday and his ear isn't hurting anymore today, but has been draining a greenish color and now he says he can't hear out of his ear. I plan on taking him to the doctor tomorrow. He hasn't had a fever, but he has had a stuffy nose for awhile. Does this sound like an infection or ruptured membrane?
Yes , it sounds like an infection which has ruptured his membrane, generally green colour discharge is seen in pseudomonas infection. He will need antibiotics and ear drops and you should meet your ent doctor for further examination and advice.
Thanks
