What Causes Gas And Pressure In Rectum While Having Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I have IBS and have had it for 20 years. I am now having a punched feeling in the middle of my stomach and have lots of gas. I also feel pressure in my rectum. I have an urgency feeling to go to the bathroom after eating but can't always go. Is this still the IBS
