Hi, The causes for this frequent menstruation could be many. Hormonal imbalances, general infections, pelvic infections including urinary infections, stress and use of certain medications in addition to weight disturbances can cause this situation. Careful analysis of symptoms and investigations will clarify the situation and further management can be planned. Urinalysis will help to detect if any infection has occurred; sometimes a culture test may also be required, more so, since you have symptoms. Sonogram will reveal any possible pelvic pathology while blood tests help to detect general infections and the thyroid profile helps to detect abnormal hormone production. Hope this helps.
