What Causes Frequent Urination After Beginning Clindamycin?

I am on clindamycin 300 mg TID x 10d, I am on day 7 and have noticed more frequent urination since I started taking the clindamycin. No bloody stools or issues there, just having to urinate every hour. Is this an expected side effect of the clindamycin?

As you mentioned that you are taking "CLINDAMYCIN" for 7 days and started frequent urination on day after this drug.
Usually clindamycin is used for severe anaerobic infection and toxic syndrome and pelvic inflammatory disease and also for endocarditis ( prophylaxis ).
You didn't mention the disease for which this drug advised.
These things I mentioned here , because frequent urination is not a side effect of clindamycin .
Side effects are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain , rashes , dermatitis , urticaria pseudomembranous colitis .
So in my opinion consult your treating physician and get his opinion .
However , frequent urination may be due to UTI , anxiety , diabetes etc.
