What Causes Fever And High ESR Count In An Infant?

Respected sir, My daughter is 15 months old, she is suffering from fever that is come to midnights. Yesterday doctors suggetion, the blood test is complete. The report shows my babies E.S.R is 70mm/1hour. Plz doctor what i doooo. Any danger it is?

dear sir thanks for posting your query to hcm . there is no need to be worried . raised ESR is a common finding in fever/inection . It do not indicate any serious pathology . fever could be of bacterial or viral in origin . you just give paracetamol in pediatric dose to subside fever .ESR will return normal when infection will cure .
