What Causes Excessive Tiredness?

I recently visited the doctor in Korea. I was feeling excessive tiredness and didn't have any drive to go to work in the mornings. The doctor gave me a shot and three days worth of six different pills, the largest one being an amoxycilin. The course of tablets finished today and i can feel some of the old symptoms coming back. Tired legs and eyes, feeling low. Whilst I was on the tablets I was top of the world, best i've felt in years. What could the problem be? I'm thinking an inactive thyroid
