Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Excessive Thirst, Hunger And Dizziness?
I have had excessive thirst, hunger and have experienced dizziness for the past 5 months. My physician has checked for diabetes, I went to an endocrinologist who says nothing is wrong with my endocrine system and an ENT says nothing is wrong in this area either.
Your symptoms might indicate a possible metabolic disorder other than diabetes: - thyroid problem - diabetes insipidus - stomach problems (gastritis, ulcer) - oscillations in blood pressure - dehydration
Therefore, I'd advise to get these other organs further evaluated to determine the right problem and get it treated in time.
Hope it helped! Dr.Albana
