i have i had pain in my testicles for a week.so i went to the doctor and they said i had epididymitis.Ive been feeling tired,weak, and drained.they put me on antibiotics which seems to b working but my muscle under my chin feels real tight and somtimes cramp if i open to wide.i looked up hiv and it seems to have the same symptoms.but i have never had unprotected sex before.i am scared and nervous.can someone please explain to me was going on. thank you
Hi. You have two altogether different problems most probably not related to each other. The pain in the testicle being diagnosed and under treatment as epididymitis needs ultrasonography and color doppler to have the review of the treatment you are taking. You have to continue the treatment till complete cure which needs a long time in cases of epididymitis.
The pain under the chin which feels tight and sometimes cramp on opening the mouth widely be a local problem and again not related to epididymitis and needs clinical evaluation by an ENT Surgeon about its origin, any focus of infection in the drainage area and get treated properly.
