What Causes Enlargement In Breast Size, darker Nipples And Pain In Lower Back After Sex?
I'm worried I might be pregnant. Me and my partner have had sex more than once during the time I was ovulating. My period came four days early and was slightly lighter than usual. It lasted less than forty eight hours and prior to that I had been experiencing some symptoms. My breasts have almost doubled in size, my nipples have become a lot darker and larger. They are very senisitve also. My lower back has been hurting as has my shoulders and neck. I have been sick once but that was on the first day of bleeding. There have been cramping also. Could this be pregnancy or am I worrying for nothing?
Hello, Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. Your chances of pregnancy are high since you had unprotected intercourse during the fertile period. Your natural period also is unusual and it is possible you have been experiencing an implantation bleed. Your symptoms are not specific to an early pregnancy, they can be premenstrual as well. In the current scenario, an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres is the best way out to clarify the situation. A sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route, will be of additional help. Further management can be planned accordingly. Take care.
