What Causes Elevation In Bilirubin Levels While Suffering With Hepatitis C?
i am suffering from hepatitis e since last one month. my SGOT and SGPT levels are normal but my bilirubin level has been increasing. my total bilirubin level in a blood test done a week back was 19 direct bilirubin was around 17 and indirect 2. i have done a blood test now, i will get my reports in the evening. please help, i am scared
Your have conjugated hyperbilirubinemia. You have to rule out other possible causes are like obstructive jaundice or infections. Use tablet Udiliv 300 mg for one month. Get it done reticulocyte count, Coombs test, ultrasound abdomen and urine urobilinogen and stool for clay colour and absence of bile salts. Please review with reports or consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
