Hello
If heart rate is more than 100 / minute is known as " tachycardia "
There are so many reasons of tachycardia due to any disease . But in my opinion gym goers 's tachycardia is not a disease but the increase in heart rate is due to exertion caused by exercise in gym .
Since mild elevated blood pressure ( mostly systolic ) and high pulse rate is not due to any disease but exercise induced tachycardia is common.
If still you have any doubt your pulse rate take reading after over night sleep for three days ( regular ) . Still you find increased pulse rate then get in E K G and ECHO ,and consult a " CARDIOLOGIST " .
Hope you will find this information good for you.
