General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the pain may be nerve related (neuralgia)

Neuralgia can occur due to abnormal function of the nerves. This can be temporary or permanent and there are different possible causes such as:(a) vitamin b12 and folate deficiency
(b)diabetes
(c)trauma to the nerves
(d)liver or kidney disease
(e)nerve diseases such as stroke or ms
(f)infection such as shingles

In some cases the cause is not known.

If it continues, then you may need to see your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
