What Causes Early Light Period And Painful Skin After Contracting Chicken Pox?

I am a 40 year old female and contracted chickenpox from my 4 year old daughter. The blisters came out 2 weeks ago and have now crusted over and most have dropped off. However i have been left with painful skin which is very sensitive to touch around my left side of my waist and back area. I also started menstruating 2 weeks early and it has now been going on for 1 week when usually it lasts 3 or 4 days. The quantity of blood is not as much as usual but it is still fresh blood one week after it started. Could this be related to the chickenpox and the sensitivity or are the 2 matters unrelated?
