I have had an ear ache going on 3 days
now tylenol and a heating pad take the pain away for the most part but my ear is leaking fluid I've had this happen before but not to this extent... I was just wondering if this is just a normal ear ache or is there something more going on?

Ear pain along with fluid discharge should be evaluated through Otoscopy ear examination first...
The examination might revealed ear drum swelling, congestive inner mucosa, infective foci etc..
Mostly it will be otitis ear infection for which you will be prescribed topical antibiotic ear drop...
If congestion more in war than short term steroid course betamethasone 0.5 mg prescribed for five days.....
If impacted wax present wax softener drop might prescribed along with...
