My chest has been feeling raw for two days. Body as well. Throat itchy. Phlemy cough at times but, mostly irritatingly dry. Restless at night. Daughter had bronchitis last week, is it possible that is what I have? Also, I had asthma as a child, should I hurry into dr. tomorrow for an antibiotic?
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic. I can understand your situation and problem. Yes, you should definitely consult doctor tomorrow because possibility of bronchitis is high in your case. Bronchitis is mostly due to infection and it is contagious through droplet infection by coughing, sneezing etc. So you might caught infection from your daughter because she had bronchitis before 1 week. So better to consult doctor and start appropriate treatment. You may need antibiotics, antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs. Inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) are also helpful. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
