What Causes Double Vision, Floaters And Headaches?

Hi Dr. Passi! I have a question,My husband has been suffering from double vision, terrible headaches, floaters, dizziness, and out of body experiences (where he feels that things aren't real around him) for five years. He has seen many doctors and eye doctors and everyone says they don't know what to tell him and that his eyes are perfect and there's nothing wrong with them! He is 25 years old and other than all these things, his health is great! He did do major drugs when he was younger, so I don't know if it's from that or what? He has been doing drugs for the past 3 years to cover all that up and now he's been clean for a month and it's all coming back!!...and he just wants answers! Should he see a neurologist? and what kind of tests should be taken?? Thanks,Sara

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that your husband is having headache associated with double vision and floaters.
Since his eyes are normal, the common cause for them can be because of primary headaches like migraine.
Hence you need to consult your physician doctor or preferably a neurologist for evaluation to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
Dr. Dadapeer K
