Hello,
1. As you have taken an opinion of a cardiologist [for cardiovascular status], a
hematologist [ for blood picture], and a
Neurologist [for any neurological sign] and nothing conclusive has been diagnosed thus following is my opinion:
2. In old age,
cervical spondylitis is the commonest cause of giddiness (ask for X-ray
cervical spine, ENT & Ophthalmic checkup. (Additionally, go for thyroid profile), till then general advice for her will be:
. Avoid movements of the head, bed rest
. Avoid caffeine
. Check whether any drug that the patient is taking (if any) is causing giddiness.
. Use
cervical collar.
. Injection neurobion IM [alternate days]
. capsule B complex twice daily for 15 days
Check with her Vitamin B12 level since deficiency in this age does cause Neurological problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood
