What Causes Discomfort And Bump In Labia Minor?

I kept feeling irritation when wiping but thought maybe underwear or clothes tight or friction. I go to look and see Left Labia minora feels swollen with a bump on it (inside). I squeezed and was painful but nothing. Touching it you feel it. I have no discharge no itching mostly just discomfort when wiping (touching). What could it be?

Hallow Dear,

Painful swelling under labia minora is suggesting some infection. It seems to be in the stage of cellulitis. If ignored and/or left untreated it will progress to form an abscess. Usually such infection is by some sexually transmitted infection like Gonorrhoea or Chlamydia. You will need an antibiotics therapy. If it progresses to form an abscess, it will have to be incised and drained.

Both the sexual partners should undergo the therapy simultaneously and observe complete sexual abstinence till both of you are declared completely cured.

Please report to your Gynaecologist.
