What Causes Difficulty In Sitting On Surfaces That Are Not Padded?

For a few years, I have had problems when sitting on surfaces that aren't padded. I jokingly said it was because I didn't have much padding in my rear end, but that really isn't the reason. I never knew what the names of these bones were. Always referred to them as my "butt bones". Found out they are call the Superior and Inferior Ramus of Ischium. I have been having more problems with the right side, increasingly more pain on that side, and now it is radiating down into my thigh. Yesterday, the pain was radiating all the way down to my heel. I have been living on Ibuprofen, it seems. And it doesn't really seem to help. This area aches always, whether I am sitting or standing or lying down. But when I sit, as I am now, it hurts to the point I can't sit for very long. I am a legal secretary, and I am sitting on a memory foam pad, and my right rear end still hurts. I feel like I can't do my job efficiently if I can't sit for periods of time - and I have a good quality office chair at my desk. I don't even know what kind of doctor to go to for this. Thank you.
