General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is normal to worry about dementia when having problems with memory. On the other hand, patients with dementia are not aware of the deficit in their memory. So it is unlikely your symptoms are due to serious problems with the memory. I agree that stress and overload may be contributing to the problem with concentration and depression may affect it as well.

I would recommend you to check the TSH level to make sure the thyroid gland is functioning well and also CBC to rule out anemia.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj,
