What Causes Diarrhea Or Constipation After Eating Vegetables?

I do not alternate between constipation and diarrhea but frequently have sudden attacks of watery diarrhea with bad cramps when I drink red wine or eat popcorn. I have had a colonoscopy with normal results. I am 54
I have had this problem all my life with no diagnosis. I say I have IBS but di I? I take pesto bosmol or Imodium weekly to live a normal life
I love vegetables but when I et them I must take meds
Any ideas

I can understand your concern, I would like to say that such diarrhea may not be due to any disease apparently it can be said but it ever leaves any doubt then it is most advisable to get done the stool culture sensitivity test, till then it is nothing to worry.
As long as the IBS concern the possibility of this is very likely because it is the functional kind of disease, and not the pathology, passing the stool in three to four times in day is normal one, some time diet may be the cause of watery diarrhea, just take it easy, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps.
