What Causes Diarrhea Inspite Of Using Align?
Have had acid reflux on and off took Pariet but changed to Dexilant due to constipation issues. Dexilant was amazing went regularly. Started mid Feb but did have endoscopy and colonoscopy to check things. All good including blood tests. Dexilant started mid. February. Since April 16th have had constant Diarreha or loose stools. No other symptoms. See Dr. Wants another colonoscopy. Saw gastro specialist who gave colonoscopy he said no, gave me Align had it for a week , no change. Now off Dexilant for 3 weeks. Any ideas as I go back to specialist in few weeks and will give me another colonoscopy ! Desperate thanks

Noted the history and understood your concerns.The cause of diarrhea in spite of the medications and proper consultation indicates that there is some problems which needs detailed evaluation, observations on your part and the family and friend as to the fins the probable cause.
I would advise you to undergo all relevant tests of stool, blood urine; particularly for hyperthyroidism being one of the commonly missed cause, Colonoscopy as already been done, CT scan and if all the investigations are normal, there is a possibility of IBS meaning irritable bowel syndrome.
Since you have stopped Dexilant and Pariet, these may not be the causes of the diarrhea.
