yes my docotor found out thru tests that in apr 30 2012 my gfr was 48 by sept it had droppe to 34, nothing odne, next test late aug 2013 gfr 38. last test done feb 18 2014 gfr 24. i was nevr told, ckd nevermentioned until clinic went to telectronic records and patients were given access to test results. until then i have been told in person and in writing that all tests were normal other than diabetes diagnosed in late apr 2012. a1c has bee below 5 since 1 jun 2012 and am not on any diabetes medications. i have high blood pressure at times over 220/90 but also have had bp of 129/64 so high variation. i am on 20 mg lisinopril and 10 mg of amolidopine and am supposed to start crstor 100 mg today. as of yesterday my primary care phsyician will no longer see me. sshe doesn't like patients that ask questions or want eplanations so she has referred me to another docotr at her clinic for mar 25, only after my husbands insistence did she give him referral for nephrologist in april and she also added refrral to cardiologist mar 27th even tho she has told us as late as yesterday that ekg was totally normla and no heart problems. i am desperate for answers, she will not provide any and should i see a nephrologist sooner than five weeks from now with gfr of 24. i have lost 15.76 pounds from 14 feb to 25 feb. that was of no concern to her at all when my husband told her. her only two conerns are the high blood pressure and the high cholesterol. my test also show anemia has been present since late april 2012, agian never told nor t reatment discussd. thank you marilyn caron
