What Causes Delayed Periods When Tubes Were Tied 9 Years Ago?

My cycles have been consistent and the only time I've ever missed is when I've been pregnant. I've had my tubes tied for nine years now and for the first time this month I'm 3 days late what could possibly be wrong with me I'm worried that something is wrong since of course my tubes are tied

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Wait for few more days. Delay in periods may be due to anemia, vitamin deficiency, thyroid deficiency or even stress. Don't panic. Wait for 7 days from the last date of missed periods. If it has not arrived you can take T. Meprate twice for 5 days and stop. There will be withdrawal bleeding.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
