What Causes Delayed Period Along With Abdominal And Back Pain?
I m two months late on my period. I have taken 5 home tests with a negative result as well as 2 blood tests with negative results. I had experienced irregular periods and unusual heavy menstrual bleeding in the past and have been seen with no results. I have pain in my lower right quadrant that is sharp and stinging but as well can be dull and cramps. The pain is severe sometimes and other times it is tolerable. The pain is very similar to needing to use the rest-room. I also have been having lower back pain more located towards the lower back.

You need to go on hormonal therapy for irregular periods, and kindly consult a gynecologist to rule out PCOS or other abnormal etiology.

Irregular periods and heavy menstrual bleeding need to be completely investigated.Abdominal ultrasound,thyroid hormone levels,body mass index and blood sugar levels need to be taken for identifying the cause of irregular periods.
Polycystic ovary,hypothyroidism,obesity and diabetes and insulin resistance should be ruled out.Treatment can be decided based on the lab assessment.
