What Causes Delayed Menstruation?

I have a missed period, and some pregnancy symptoms... I took a home pregnancy test and tested negative.. I don t know what has been happening. I have been cramping over a week and no sign of period. I had unprotected sex various times but he never ejaculated in me. But the times we did protect ourselves he did ejaculate.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Not ejaculating in the vagina during unprotected sex is not a fool proof method of contraception. Preseminal secretions (precum) are deposited in the vagina unknowingly. Precum does contain some sperms which can cause pregnancy. Hope pregnancy test may report false negative results if performed too early. Hence, please repeat the test again after 4 to 5 days or one week after the missed period. Alternatively you may opt for Beta hCG test.
