Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Delayed menstruation in you should be related to some hormonal disturbance like thyroid disorder, Hormonal imbalance due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), Sudden weight gain or being very overweight, Stress, depression etc.
If you are near 40 or above 40 years, Failure of the ovaries may also be the reason of delayed menstruation. This might be a sign of approaching menopause.
If you have recently gained weight or obese, weight loss you periods will start to be regular. You should try to exercise more & control your diet. Taking a healthy diet full of green leafy vegetables & fruits is advised.

If you miss one or more cycles, consult a gynaecologist

Hope this information helps
