What Causes Delayed Menstruation And Faint Line In Pregnancy Test?

I have taken 5 home pregnancy tests the cheap ones but all come back with a faint line, I did read the test within the 5 minute period. I even had someone I knew was not pregnant take one just to see and not even a hint of a line. Both urine tests at the clinic they said were negative but I saw a line. I went to the hospital and my hcg in the blood test was 7, right then the doctor said there is no way I am pregnant. I am healthy, 36, and have never miscarried or had a false positive. I am not spotting and 4 days late on a cycle that runs like clockwork........I really don t believe it is not positive, there are no signs of any miscarriage or otherwise....help please?

Hello,

You are getting faint line in pregnancy test, faint line in pregnancy test is commonly indicative of false positive, meaning you are not pregnant. Since you have regular menstruation cycle and have not miscarried, you are suggested to have patience. Do not take period inducing medicines. Sometimes, the line is faint because the hCG level is low, hCG levels may be low because you're still very early into your pregnancy.

Wait for a couple of days, do not do any heavy work. Stay well hydrated. Take home made balanced food. Take adequate rest. Get tested for pregnancy (urine and blood). Get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get USG uterus done, to confirm pregnancy and gestational age of the fetus. You will be treated and managed accordingly. Stay away from addictions if any.
