What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Normal Thyroid And Blood Tests?
Hi doctor I take tranexa after doc advice I have periods problem from time I chnge many doctors but my periods problem still. My all test clear like hormones, thyroid, BP, sugar etc. Whn I have periods problem every doctor advice me tranexa, this time I take my self without take any kind of advice. Is it right or wrong for me
1. Tranexa [transexamic acid] is used to control heavy bleeding during menstrual period, so it is unclear whether you are having menorrhagia / metrorhagia or delayed periods It is best to seek suggestion to know why you have missed your periods, a gynecologist would be ideal to consult, do consult a doctor for appropriate examination / investigations.
2. Also, rule out certain lifestyle changes done recently [if any] like: - Excessive stress - Loosing or putting too much of weight - Heavy exercises - Suffering from PCOD or having a high level of prolactin [hormone]
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
