What Causes Delay In Periods And Abdominal Cramps Despite Having Negative UPT?

I have missed my period for the last three months. My last period was Dec 1st. My breast and nipples became very tender after the first missed period, but went away after about a month. I have been having menstral cramps every month. I have had headaches and been very tired. I also feel dizzy at times. I have taken pregnancy test and they are negative. I had a tubal ligation about five years ago

Hello dear,
Understand your concern.
sometime pregnancy kit give false result or negative in window period so repeat after 7 days to confirm or you can do blood HCG level that is very specific than UPT.
But chance of pregnancy is very less you have done tube ligation.

Following are the reason for late periods:
1. High level of stress
2. Change in life style
3. Late ovulation
4. Excessive exercise
5. Drugs: Birth control pills, tyroid medication, Excessive tea and caffeine
6. Thyroid problem
7. Hormonal imbalane:
For pain: Take tablet Meftal Spas Two times a day for 3-4 days.
Do regular walking and exercise.
Eat healthy diet

Also note that
Menstruation required co ordinate action of various hormone that secreted by ovary (estrogen and progesterone) and brain (FSH and LH).
If any above hormone is decreased or increased there is imbalance in menstruation.
So please do full hormonal profile : Estrogen, progestron, LH, FSH, HCG and thyroid hormone.
That help to diagnose hormonal imbalance.
After confirmation you can take treatment according So please go ahead.
