What Causes Continuous Spotting After Taking Gianve For PCOS?
Hello! I have PCOS and have been using Gianve for about a year. During this period I had very continious spotting/bleeding for more than 2 (sometimes even 3) weeks with no visible pattern (it could be the very beggining of the cycle or in the middle or at the end). I want to understand the reason why this continuous to happen. How different is Loryna (I know the hormones content is the same, but it doesn't work the same way for 90% of women who tried it), what causes all the negative side effects when the active ingredients are the same?
Hello, Persistent bleeding after initiation of the treatment with regular cycles previously suggests that you are not suitable for the medication and have to change it. It is one of the adverse effects of the drugs contained. Essentially, there is no difference between the two trade names in the drug content. The side effects are mostly the same. Please go through FDA literature to know more and consult your specialist for further management. Maintenance of a normal BMI and regular exercise go a long way in the management of PCOD. Hope this helps.
