What Causes Constant Sweating?
YES I WAS ON A SLOW REDUCTION OF EFFEXOR MY LAST 37.5 DOSE WAS ON THURSDAY FEB 4TH. I AM AM ALSO ON 300 MG OF WELBUTRON. I AM EXPERIENCING SWEATING. I SEEM TO ALWAYS BE IN A STATE OF CONSTANT SWEATING. IS THIS TYPICAL ARE YOU SERIOUS I HAVE TO PAY FOR AN ANSWER MY HUSBANDS AN ENDOCRINOLOGIST AND HE JUST TOLD ME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ME.. Wellbutrin is a strong inhibitor of an enzyme system in the liver that metabolizes Effexor. so, theoretically, if you take both medications, Effexor could last longer in your body. Effexor has been associated with increased sweating in about 10% patients in clinical trials but usually seen with much higher doses (>200 mg). you could talk to your doctor about changing the antidepressant. another possibility is menopause which can cause hot flashes and sweating.
