What Causes Constant Migraine Headaches Along With Vertigo?

Today is day 28 of vertigo and migraines. No fever, regular bp, no migraine history, no other medications. Any kind of motion (extending walking traveling in car) or change in air pressure makes it worse, the stopping in a car seems to be worse than the initial motion itself. I can barely walk afterwards, it feels like I m still in the car, my vision is fine, it s all in my head that just feels spinny. The pressure and pain from this is exceedingly tormenting. I have taken Antivert, Topamax, Norco, Valium, and Maxalt. None of them have offered long term relief, just slight temporary relief, if any. Last Friday I was seen by an ENT who said it didn t appear to be an inner ear issue, my hearing is ok, just losing some of the bass sounds in my left ear. He gave me a medication that dropped my blood pressure, gave me severe chest pains, and eventually sent me to the ER. There is a constant sharp pain on the right side of my head, just above my ear approximately two inches. There is still painful pressure below both of my ears, I m scared, but would like to know the different possibilities of what this could be. Of course I ve done the respostional head tilting also. Please....

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering form constant migraine headaches along with vertigo . Well there can be many reasons for vertigo like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo , Vertigo may also be caused by inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection , meniere's disease , acoustic neuroma , sinusitis and multiple sclerosis . suggest you to consult with ENT specialist for proper checkup so that there will not be any further complication . Doctor may order certain test like CT scan , MRI , blood test , audiometery test , rotatory chair test and ECG to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe ant emetic drug , sedatives , antibiotics and some ear aid . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine and may prescribe vasograine , betablockers or frusamide .For now avoid bending foreword , take steam , drink green tea thrice a day and do light exercises daily .
