What Causes Constant Dizziness And Nausea?

What causes constant dizziness and nausea with no other symptoms for several weeks? Been to a dr who said maybe sinus issues even though I don t have any sinus symptoms or allergies and no other symptoms. Prescribed Zyrtec and Dramamine which actually helps with nausea but I am still having multiple dizzy episodes which even wake me during the night. . . feels like being on a boat during a storm!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Based on the description of a ship in a storm indicating that there may be a sensation of you spinning or the room spinning., you may be experiencing vertigo.

Vertigo is most commonly due to conditions of the inner ear such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, meniere's disease, vestibular neurontitis. There are other causes as well.

If there is associated ringing or other noises in the ear along with hearing loss then meniere's would be more likely.
If the episodes seem to occur with certain head positions, then it may be BPPV.
If it lasts for hours on end then it may be vestibular neuronitis

It would be best to see an ENT specialist or neurologist.

I hope this helps
