What Causes Cold Sensation All Through The Body?

I AM, ALWAYS COLD AND MY PRIMARY DOCTOR SAYS ITS BECAUSE I HAVE POOR BLOOD CIRCULATION BUT DID NOT TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO BESIDES EAT A LOT OF PROTEIN I AM FIFTY YEARS OLD ANEMIC I OTHER WISE AM HEALTHY NOT DIABETIC NO BLOOD PRESSURE PROBLEMS JUST THAT ANEMIA SMALL VEINS PLEASE HELP I AM TIRED OF FREEZING ALL THE TIME THE DOCTOR ALSO TESTED MY IRON AND IT WAS FINE.

hi mam/sir,anemia also causes cold sensation.though your iron levels came normal,you might be suffering from anemia.firstly rule out any occult blood losses as in stools,menses etc.you need to improve your hemoglobin % to atleast 11gm%.one more probability is hypothyroidism that causes cold intolerance.it may have some more symptoms like weight gain,hair loss,excessive sleep,constipation etc.once please have your thyroid profile and hemoglobin,serum ferritin done.please upload the reports so that we can arrive at an apt diagnosis and can manage accordingly.any more queries i'm always happy to attend.thank you.take care.bye.
